Get to read from an article online (Health.com) that there are 4 surprising cures for back pain. It really interests me when it comes to back pain as it was one of my articles too that I’ve posted last year April titled spinal cord injury. Though the recommendation in this article about back pain are not really for those hardcore back pain patients (must seek professional advice) – but it might provides a bit of relieves, which might help improves the conditions. Just when I wrote about the vector-borne diseases in the previous articles on climate change that I recalled on the tragedy happen to my colleague (close friend) few years ago. His name is Al (not his real name) and he joins the company 1 year earlier than me. Before me he is consider a junior there, but since after I join he is rated as a senior;). We celebrate and welcome year 2012 like every other year before - gather together for countdown, fireworks, and partying all night long till the next morning, because the next day will be public holiday. Year 2012 also marks the year of what we are told to be the end of the world on 21/12/2012 – what a beautiful combination of numbers. Do you really believe it? The thing that we actually thought all this while that it won’t happen in our time is actually happening – to think about it really scared me out!!!

Those whom want to believe it, I leave it to you guys, but I personally do not believe that it happens so soon – we still can able to save our mother earth from dying. If I know I’m dying soon, I will do whatever I wanted to do - as long as I’m happy with it. This mindset will lead to more and more wrongdoing that threatens our planet. If we think the other way round, we will try our very best to safe it. The reason why our planet is dying so fast is because of us (human being) – our ever growing activities like burning of fossil fuel like coal, oil, and gas, deforestation, waste and etc. are altering the composition of atmosphere and contribute to climate changes.

Tea drinking is a culture for people all over the world irrespective of ethnicity. Although with the western influence of alcohol and other carbonated beverages as alternative options, tea is still rated as first rank of preference beverage that is irreplaceable.

 The history of tea drinking can be dated back 2737BCE by the Chinese emperor Shennong. It is said that emperor Shennong preferred his drinking water to be boiled so it is clean to consume. One day while emperor Shennong was travelling, his servant begins boiling water for him to drink. A dead leaf from the wild tea bush suddenly fell into the boiling water unnoticed. Emperor Shennong drank it and finds it very refreshing, and so from there on he names it Cha (meaning ‘Tea’). Tea was only introduces to the West about 400 years ago.

Hearing the word itself makes us annoyed and worried. Radiation is indeed a very scary word that marks tremendous negative effects throughout the history of mankind. From the disaster of nuclear bomb planted on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, then the Chernobyl nuclear disaster and to the latest nuclear plant disaster at Fukushima, Japan. Radiation can be extremely dangerous, especially in large doses. Though dramatic events like nuclear meltdowns and the possibility of nuclear war are the risks we most readily connect with radiation, it is the constant everyday lower level of radiation that we should be most concern about.

Radiation is in fact, a regular part of the life. From the day we were born to the day we die, our bodies are subjected to expose to persistent barrage of the energize atomic particles of radiation. The sources of everyday radiation are far more common than people are aware – being out in the sun (sunlight contains ultraviolet radiation), getting a dental x-ray (x-rays are forms of radiation), flying in an airplane (at higher altitude, you have less of the earth’s atmosphere to protect you from cosmic radiation- including from the sun), or even spending time in concrete building (concrete contains small amounts of uranium that emit radioactive radon gas) – Radon is the leading source of natural radiation exposure and the second leading cause of lung cancer.  Where does it come from?  Well, usually from soil, but it is found everywhere. The ground that we all walk and build our homes upon contains varying levels of naturally occurring radioactive elements that decay into radon gas, which can seep into homes and become a health concern.

Stress

Stress is the word that comes out on my mind when I thought about the modern day laymen daily life. This is the word that follows us every day that no one can stay free from it. Why? Living in this urban life, we can’t say that we are stress free, because there must be something that disturbing us or temp to make us feel uncomfortable. Stress isn’t always bad. In small doses, it can help you perform under pressure and motivate you to do your best. But when you’re constantly running in emergency mode, your mind and body pay the price.

What actually make us stress?

There are actually a lot of things that make stress surface. Some of the common things that normally most of us would encountered daily are stuck in a jam, waking up early for work, loads of errand at work, meeting, personal matter, financial issue, child issue, family issue, and lots of other issue/matters that we can’t even think of. Stress is a physical and emotional response to events that make us feel pressured.

Bad Breath

It is sad to say that much of the think I write here are somehow related to myself;/ Talking about bad breath – I can say for me it is on and off because it comes once in a while, but due to not everyone will honestly told me that I have a bad breath, I’m not pretty sure whether am I on and off or all the while having it.

This means that drinking a lot of water, mouth spray, chewing gum, sweets and whatever thing that prevents my bad breath to surface, I will surely kept them with me without fail. Sometimes when I run out of stocks and forget to re-stock, I will felt uneasy because I have phobia on hearing people said that word (bad breath) to me.  – I still thought that my breath is always bad all the time.

It is hard for us to resist the good food in front of us. The look of the delicacies nowadays really tempting and most of us will be more than willing to spend our hard end money on the things we eat. In addition to that, we can now have the option to even buy coupon online.
